RAM (Random Access Memory)
# What is RAM ?
è RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It is temporary memory which is used to store running condition of computer data. For e.g.:
1) When we play music
2) When we open programs, etc.
It is also called Volatile memory. The data store in RAM will lost when power supply in RAM will lose.
Basically RAM is place into the RAM Slot. RAM Slot is the longest slot on the Motherboard where we easily plug/unplug the RAM, upgrade it. Mainly Motherboards contain a pair of RAM Slots but some Motherboard also has 4 RAM Slots on the basis of its structure.

In RAM Slot of the Motherboard we need to place the RAM but we must need to identify the types of RAM before place it. Each RAM Slot of the Motherboard is suitable for each types of RAM only. It became an issue for the common people to identify it but easier for the people in IT field. Basically, there are mainly 5 types of RAM available at present time in IT market. They are described below.
1) SD RAM (3.3V)
It stands for Synchronize Dynamic RAM. Its operating voltage is 3.3V. It has two cuts.
Size: 32MB, 64MB & 128MB. 256MB and 512MB sticks can purchased for a little bit more.
